what is the purest form of water (H2o) you could possibly get/find/make ?
and where is it to be found ?
is the purest form of water only available through lab controlled decontamination highly pressurised chambers ?
or is the purest form of water beneath the earth or under rocks ?
OR...is it in space ? which brings me to the sub-question and EQUALLY important if not more important as it was something i wanted to ask also, are there such things as 'water crystals' in space ? just 'floating around' in space ? or in rings around planets ?
in theory water in space would be #1 purest , literally 100% pure (not 99.99999999999999999999% pure) because there is no pollution in space right ?

The purest could probably be made by burning hydrogen in pure oxygen. Hydrogen can be purified by passing it through a thin membrane of palladium metal - it is the only gas that will pass such a barrier. Oxygen could be generated chemically (for example, by decomposing potassium chlorate) and then purified by cryodistillation. Both processes would result in extremely pure gases, which could be reacted to produce very pure water.
Water in space might have other compounds in it. It would probably be found as either a gas, which could easily be mixed with other compounds, or as a solid, which could be contaminated with dust or with other compounds that would be frozen at the temperatures prevalent in most of outer space (things like methane and CO2). Many simple organic compounds have been detected in outer space.
