Single Rose Leaves
My Rose Flower Is So Small..Why?

I Had Taken a cutting from my friend, Of A Yellow rose plant...I rooted it and It was growing VERY VERY Well...The Leaves and All growing VERY well...But now quite a few flowers came up but they ddnt look anything like the Big Yellow flower it was supposed to look like...Instead it is A Single layered White Flower...
Why is this? Any Ways To Solve this??
Btw, Im A Very Newbie Gardener, So plS use Newbie garden language...=D

most roses are hybrids, the cutting you have may be a throwback to the stock root of the yellow one , if you want why not take another cutting off another rose and splice it to the one in the ground, you never know you may get a real beauty that you can name yourself
