Ok here is the scoop. I met someone people would call my "twin soul" at a young age. We dreamt of each other before we met, then recognized each other immediately upon meeting in the physical world. We were born within 2 weeks of each other, same year, same zodiac sign.
The "service" idea is religious claptrap. But the universe is trying to work out energy, so it does form a magnetic attraction between certain people.
In my case this person has always been in my life but it has been an intense, turbulent connection. That is the universe trying to work energy out--not being some saint to serve people. Although the energy may be worked out that way. Both sides need to mature to the point where they can maintain a stable connection.
He feels everything I feel, and I feel everything he feels. We are linked telepathically (whether people believe in this reality or not)
But, there are really no "soulmates" in the ways of selfish human beings with fantasies of the perfect mate. Even with the other half of your soul (think polarities of yin/yang, masculine-feminine) the battles will be many before you become one in total harmony. At that point, you wouldn't even be on this plane anymore.
